We are pleased to announce that we have decided to include the participation of all students in the 2025 half-yearly issue of our Tamil Institute’s Tamil Kathir Student Magazine, rather than limited to class-based works, like the December 2024 issue.
So, encourage your children to submit their works to their class teachers before June 14th.
Things to follow regarding students’ works;
PRESCHOOL / LKG / UKG students
colouring pictures,
taking shadow copies of the pictures and sending them to the teacher
Students from Years 1 to 6
write their works by hand, copy them and send them to the teacher.
Students from Year 7 to 10
type their works on the computer (in Tamil / Unicode font / MS Word format) and send them.
Students from Year 11 to 12
type their works on the computer (in Tamil / Unicode font / MS Word format) and send them.
All works will be sent to the magazine by the class teacher.
Contact your class teacher for further information regarding your work.
Some suggestions
1. A drawing drawn by a student
2. My holidays or a day on vacation
3. A festival I celebrated
4. A favorite song or children’s story I enjoyed – with details of the author
6. A crossword puzzle (upper class student)
7. A book I read (book review)
8. A glimpse of an event I witnessed in Australia (upper class student)
9. Regional Tamil words I collected (upper class student)
In addition to these, there are also photos of celebrations and award ceremonies that took place at the school this year, and of events in which school students participated in external events.
Dear Parents,
We sincerely hope our students are preparing articles for their student’s magazine, as instructed by their class teachers.
Articles need to be submitted as per the following,
PRESCHOOL / LKG / UKG Students:
Any drawings / paintings – Photo of the same to be submitted to the class teacher.
YEAR 1 to YEAR 6 Students:
Handwritten articles to be photographed and sent to the class teacher.
YEAR 7 to YEAR 10 Students:
Articles to be typed in Tamil in Unicode font – MS Word format
YEAR 11 & YEAR 12 Students:
Articles to be typed in Tamil in Unicode font – MS Word format
All articles will be reviewed and sent to the editorial by the class teacher.

All articles should be submitted on or before 14/06/2025 to your respective class teachers.
