We are pleased to announce that the 2025 anniversary issue of our Tamil Institute’s student magazine “Tamil Kathir” is about to be published.
Things to follow regarding student works;
Class students
PRESCHOOL / LKG / UKG students
colour pictures
, take shadow copies of the pictures and send them to the teacher.
All the works will be sent to the magazine by the class teacher.
Students from Years 1 to 6
should handwrite their works, copy them and send them to the teacher.
The works should not exceed one page in A4 size.
All works will be sent to the magazine by the class teacher.
Students from Year 7 to 10
should type their works on a computer (in Tamil / Unicode font / MS Word format) and send them.
The works should not exceed one page in A4 size.
All works will be sent to the magazine by the class teacher.
Students from Year 11 to 12
should type their works on a computer (in Tamil / Unicode font / MS Word format) and send them.
The works should not exceed one page in A4 size.
All works will be sent to the magazine by the class teacher.
For more information regarding your works, please contact your class teacher.
We kindly request that all your works be sent to your teacher before 15/11/2025.
Some suggestions are
1. A drawing drawn by a student
2. My holidays or a day during a vacation
3. Navaratri that I celebrated
4. Diwali (painting or essay)
5. My favorite song or children’s story – with details of the author
6. Crossword puzzle (Senior Class Student)
7. A book I read (Book review)
8. A glimpse of an event I witnessed in Australia (Senior Class Student)
9. Tamil regional idioms that I collected (Senior Class Student)
Apart from these, photographs of celebrations and prize-giving events that took place in the school this year, events in which the school students participated in external events)

We hope our students are preparing their articles for our school magazine as guided by their class teachers. We kindly request your support to encourage the students and ensure submissions meet the below guidelines.
Submission Requirements by Class
Preschool / LKG / UKG
Submit a photo of a drawing or painting to the class teacher.
Class will forward all submissions to the editorial team.
Year 1 – Year 6
Handwritten article in Tamil (maximum 1 A4 page)
Send a clear photo of the work to the class teacher.
Class will forward all submissions to the editorial team.
Year 7 – Year 10
Typed article in Tamil (maximum 1 A4 page)
Must be in Unicode font – submit in MS Word format.
Class will forward all submissions to the editorial team.
Year 11 & Year 12
Typed article in Tamil (maximum 1 A4 page) in Unicode font – MS Word format.
Class will forward all submissions to the editorial team.
